When you build a new form on your website (Webflow, WordPress, anywhere) and want it to flow into CapBloom, most fields just work. But custom fields need a one-time setup before the form goes live, or the data comes through blank.

Fields That Work Automatically

These standard fields flow into CapBloom without any setup:

Custom Fields (One-Time Setup)

Anything else — number of team members, stage, goals, fund size, role, referral source — is a custom field. It needs to be created in CapBloom first.

What to Send Us When You Launch a New Form

Step 1: The form URL

Step 2: A list of the custom field labels exactly as they appear on the form

Step 3: The field type for each one (text, dropdown, number, date, etc.)

We'll create the matching fields in CapBloom and confirm back when the form is wired up. Once live, the auto-tagging system handles tagging based on the form name and source.

💡 Same setup applies to forms piped in via Zapier, webhook, or any third-party integration — not just direct Webflow forms.
